This Omega Worldtimer watch is presented on a polished steel case. The outside section of the dial is sun-ray blue and has vertical teak stripes and a circle of global destinations printed in red (GMT), silvery (+1h in summer) and blue (places without daylight savings). The middle of the dial contains a 24-hour glass ring, with light blue to indicate daytime and dark blue to indicate night. The vision of Earth is created on a grade 5 titanium plate. This has been laser-blasted to create the blue ocean, leaving a relief of the continents. The contrasting colors of the Earth’s surface are obtained naturally by the laser’s chemical reaction. The World-timer is powered by the Chronometer Calibre 8938. Self-winding movement with Co-Axial escapement. Certified Master Chronometer, approved by METAS, resistant to magnetic fields reaching 15,000 gauss. GMT / Worldtimer functions. Free sprung-balance with silicon balance spring; automatic winding in both directions. Rhodium plated finish with Geneva waves in arabesque.
