Armand Nicolet’s Limited Edition L07 faces a new challenge and joins the world of chronographs. Limited to 140 pieces, the L07 collection features 20 pieces of the famous VENUS 175 movement with “column wheel” and 120 pieces of VENUS 188 with “navettes” system. L07 goes farther beyond Armand Nicolet’s best masterpieces in terms of finishing and decoration. The plate and the bridges of the movements deserve particular attention: they are entirely finished with a motif that recaptures a decoration used in the 1930s on high-end movements. After the surface has been perfectly polished, the plate and the bridges are hand decorated using an ivory point. The point scrapes the shiny surface creating lines every 2 mm resulting in a unique and beautiful outlook. The balance wheel, made of a special alloy, has a counter-weight system with balance screws. The vibrations are 18.000 per hour and the power reserve is 32 hours. The movement is engraved with the limited number on the frame opening on the dial.Armand Nicolet creates mechanical watches of limited production, resulting from the know-how and special technical skills of elite specialists who have worked for the Maison for generations. These watches bear excellent handmade finishing, from the movement, available in various complications, to the rest of the components such as dials, cases, straps, and buckles.Armand Nicolet watches have the DNA of the prestigious most refined Swiss watches and stylish look created by our Italian designers. Today the watches that were produced in the past are meticulously studied by our master watchmakers in order to recuperate their splendid handmade craftsmanship also in the daily production. Our peculiarity is that in our warehouse old movements from the '50s and '60s (such as UNITAS, Venus, ETA, Peseux, FHF etc...) were found along with the specific tools and the machineries needed to work on them. We recover and tune and we develop these movements as they are a real treasure. By doing so we developed an incredible know-how that allowed us to bring original vintage movements back to a new life.
